R.E. BATGER is committed to maintaining and enhancing its reputation for cost effective and efficient manufacturing and supply processes that minimises the impact of its activities on the environment.
 
This is to be achieved through our management programme which will meet the requirements of the Environmental Management System Standard ISO 14001:2004 and any subsequent up-dates together with all applicable legal and other regulatory requirements.
 
The key points of this strategy to achieve this are:-
 
i) Minimise waste by evaluating our operations and ensuring they are as efficient as possible, within our financial restraints.
 
ii) Consideration is always given to the environmental criteria when purchasing supplies so as to ensure they are used and disposed of in ways that will cause least harm to the environment.
 
iii) Ensure continual improvement and prevention of pollution by controlling and reducing all harmful releases, general waste discharge, and energy consumption.
 
iv) To raise awareness within our staff of environmental issues and enlist their support in improving the company’s environmental objectives and targets.
 
v)To strive towards gaining an accredited program to offset the greenhouse footprint generated by our activities
